If I could change one thing, what would it be?
The fitness industry – it is exceptionally great at catering for already fit people, leaving the majority of the population lost and confused. Breaks my heart.

If I had 24 hours left on this earth what would I do?
I would tell my children that the universe is abuntantly giving them everything they could ever need (again!). That at the heart of us all, there is only pure love. That there is no ‘one god’. We are all a part of the one source. That we are incredibly powerful and have the potential to change the world. I would sit and talk about what life is really all about with my husband recording, so whoever needs to hear it, will. I would share my thoughts on how beautiful each and every person really is and that deep down they have all the answers they could ever need. I would share that we need to be kinder to ourselves. That the world will only make big changes, when we begin to choose more self love, self compassion and self growth. There’s way more, but that’s a good start!

Where do I see myself in 10 years?
Hopefully helping 1000’s of women to feel and understand how beautiful and amazing they are through movement that enhances their life and that they love, through nutrition that nourishes and nurtures them, through mindset that leaves them in love with themselves and their lives.

What are my 3 pet peeves?
I have many.. I am human! But my current ones are –
*Fitness industry making it about muscles and looks. Bullshit!
*chewing with your mouth open
*over complainers. Get over it already!

What do I think about the low carb movement?
Not much..lol.Eat a great wide variety of beautiful whole food sources, and you won’t have to worry about it too much really

What is my greatest fear?
That my fears will hold me back and when I’m on my death bed, I’ll regret not speaking my message and helping more people.

Where do I see society in 20 years?
Hopefully, with millions more following their heart, and doing what they love, and sharing it with world. We need this so much now. The more we love our lives, the more we will influence others in a beautiful positive way

What advice would I give my 20 year old self today?
You are great! You are doing great! All that negative talk, all the stuff in your head.. it isn’t real. It isn’t true. You are perfectly you… and that’s exactly what the world needs.

Fitness – one piece of advice?
Don’t put pressure on yourself. Just move your body. It doesn’t have to be much. All that talk about how much, how often etc… it’s all subjective. There’snoone way. That’s why you are confused. Just start. A little. And ask yourself why you are choosing to move. Your why will get you to where you want to go. So much jargon is thrown at us.. that we become lost and this leads to us not really knowing what we want or what we need. Why are you choosing a healthier life? Let YOU be the driver of our journey.

Nutrition – one piece of advice?
Fake food is NOT real. Your body will need to expend extra energy to filter it through. Just like a phone.. if it’s overloaded with too much energy, it needs to be plugged into a charger to get going again. Wanna last the distance?Make it easier for your body – eliminate the stuff that works it harder than it needs to.

Mindset – one piece of advice?
WORK ON IT. DAILY. You CAN control your thoughts. You CAN change your beliefs. You can life a beautiful life. It all starts with ONE thought. Make it a GREAT ONE!

What’s one mistake I regret?
I don’t have regrets, because every moment leads to the next and I wouldn’t be who I am today without them. But if I was forced (lol) to choose something, it would be … nahhhh… I don’t have any.

Healthy weight range and BMI.. thoughts?
Lol – have you got all day?!!!!Haha…no, so Ill just say this…RUBBISH.
If you FEEL HEALTHY..don’t over-analyse it… go with it! It’s A GREAT THING! Don’t let any of the rest bring you down!

Illusion. There is no perfect. Perfect entails an end point. We are all on a journey. Time does not stand still. We never stand still. Perfect cannot exist.

Anyone who is putting themselves out there to make a difference.Who does it for the betterment of humankind. Who chooses love and a desire to help make a difference in the world. I don’t care what it is. I admire it…immensely.

I’m 42yrs old and a mother of 3 young gorgeous boys, I have a dreamboat of a husband, a dog the size of a horse, another dog the size of a large cat and an awesome (large) cat that is so amazing he has a title before his name as a sign of respect... we call him Mr. Milo
I LOVE to dance. I am a total music nerd (I am extremely passionate about so many different styles of music & know so many weird and wonderful facts about songs and artists that I love to share with anyone who’ll listen ). I’m a big film buff, an avid reader (I’ve only recently realised all my absolute favourite books are considered “historical fiction”, but I do enjoy many genres). I am greatly intrigued by history, I love everything about yoga and find so much contentment practicing (and studying) it. I love to learn, I write lots and love photography & editing. I live for adventures (camping/fishing/exploring) with all my boys- including my awesome hubby. I love FEELING good- eating good food, moving my body & staying as positive as I can!
My fitness journey began once I walked through the doors at Quality Mind & Body Fitness almost 5 years ago now. I had never loved moving my body so much before! Doing regular exercise, feeling my body getting fitter and knowing my mind was so completely absorbed in what I was doing whenever I was exercising in venue, was all just pure BLISS! I’ve since become a Zumba instructor, studied stretch & flexibility, completed my cert III in Fitness & cert IV in Personal Training further training in Core Yoga, and Pilates.
I am currently teaching two classes a week and I have to pinch myself sometimes because I cannot believe how lucky I am to do something that every moment of (researching, creating, planning, timing, practicing, cueing, instructing, presenting, helping, encouraging, motivating) is all (once again) PURE BLISS . I can’t wait to meet you!
